Scary Party 2

Saturday was our second annual Scary Party. It was even better than last year! :)

And not just because we had a spider... (waving to all the fans)

and a Pumpkin patch...

2 Ninja turtles... (and Dimples is the princess of the turtles, in case that wasn't clear... ;)

Calvin and Hobbes...

The Hulk...

A Blue Jay...

A Miner...

A Frog and a Gnome...

And....

A certain kind of Kitten!!!

It was also because we had Dan... ( no, Dad... no, Dan... no, Dad.... wait.. I'm confused...)

And The Best Hostess still - the Spider Fairy with her very own Puppet Helper.

There was a hilarious "bum-darts" competition (semi-finals at Christmas... bring it on!!!), an arm-wrestling competition, with Jonny Bravo taking it all, and lots of laughs.

I hope your house wasn't too trashed, Spider Fairy, 'cause we want to come back again next year! :D

Three months old!

A quarter year already. The time is flying by.

Hannah is now 3 months old! She weighs about 12½ lbs, and is just over 23" long.

She now has her baths in the REAL tub... no more baby bath for her! (Don't you just love those chunky thighs?!?? And yes, my kids are snorting over the 'fig leaf'... they think it's hilarious... ;)

She has been enjoying playing on her mat on the floor - especially when someone shakes a rattle for her. :D

She loves reading stories...

And chewing on her fists.

She even thinks Daddy is an A-ok photographer! :D

Here she demonstrates her karate skills... Sha sha shaaaaa!!!

For your viewing pleasure... Hannah has found her voice! And she likes to use it. ;) Too cute, I say.

Hello. My name is Joe.

and I work. in. a button factory.... (you're welcome... mwahahahaha.... ;)

This is Joe.

He showed up a few weeks ago. Skinny and frightened. He's still a little skinny, but since we've been feeding him, he's slowly fattening up.

He's a really lovely kitty.

If I didn't already have two kitties in the house, I would adopt him. But, since I do, he remains a shed kitty... despite his best efforts to become something else. ;)

Since he's such a nice kitty, I have to ask...

Anybody want a house cat?

I ♥ Faces - Dress-up!

This week's challenge at i♥faces is Hallowe'en Dress-up.

This year, our family had a Medieval Thanksgiving! So, while this picture isn't technically for Hallowe'en, it's still dress-up. :)

This is my niece, Heidi, as a pink princess. I played around with it a little for fun the other day, and I really like how it ended up... so it became my entry this week! Click here to see her whole outfit. She was adorable!

You can see some more pictures of our Medieval fun here.

Check out all the other entries at i♥faces.

Hockey!!

We went to see my nephew Quin's first hockey game last night. And, what a game!

Here's Quin, all ready to go. (White jersey, yellow socks.)

After his GOAL!! Way to go!

Skate, skate, skate! Go boy, go!!

Hurrah! Hurray for the home team!

The final score.

Quin had a great game - he ended up with 3 goals and 2 assists! What a game! We're so glad that we got to watch our favourite nephew who's name starts with "Q"! :)
